Certified Marijuana Testing Laboratories

Section 381.986, Florida Statutes (F.S.), defines a marijuana testing laboratory as "a facility that collects and analyzes marijuana samples from a medical marijuana treatment center and has been certified by the department pursuant to s. 381.988." Pursuant to section 381.988, F.S., the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) licenses and regulates certified marijuana testing laboratories (CMTLs) in the state of Florida.

1 AccuScience Laboratories is currently approved for the testing of usable whole flower and edibles only.

2 Method Testing Labs is currently approved for the following tests:

    • Water Activity, Moisture, and Filth and Foreign Material Testing Fields in all Matrix Groups
    • Cannabinoids and Heavy Metals Testing Fields in the Usable Whole Flower and Derivatives Products Matrix Groups
    • Combined Total Yeast and Mold in the Usable Whole Flower Matrix Group
